The Arteon is Volkswagen’s flagship luxury sedan. Arteon is the perfect combination of style, comfort and cutting-edge technology. Equipped with a Golf R derived 2.0TSI 4-cylinder engine, this powerful and efficient engine has the ability to produce 268 hp and sprint the car to 100 km/h in 6 seconds. 4MOTION All-Wheel Drive comes standard on all Arteon as does a smooth shifting 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.
Each Arteon comes standard with a heated leather wrapped steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats finished in premium Nappa leather, a massaging driver seat, and three zone automatic climate control. The beautiful 12.3” Digital Cockpit guage cluster allows the driver to experience the drive in an entirely new way. Through the Digital Cockpit, you are able to control anything from your music to your navigation system and all the information a drive could want at the touch of a steering wheel mounted button. If your commute takes you on the highway with stop and go traffic, the adaptive cruise control will handle the chore of stopping and starting for you automatically safely keeping distance from the vehicle ahead. The expansive lift gate design features Easy Open and Easy Close standard on the Arteon. The driver is able to open the vehicle’s power lift gate hands-free. One kick under the rear bumper and the power lift-gate rises to reveal the cavernous cargo area. Flexible and easily accessed, the capacity of up to 564 litres with the 60/40-split rear seats up, 1,557 L when they’re folded.
The first of two options is the available Driver Assistance Package. This package adds multiple advanced safety features such as Front Assist. Front Assist has the ability to detect oncoming traffic and stop the vehicle if need be to avoid a collision. That’s not the end of advanced technology in this vehicle. In the Volkswagen Arteon, safety is no question with lane assist which alerts the driver of drifting into another lane without signaling. For those who enjoy driving far more than parking, with Parking Assist, the Arteon is able to tell if a parking space is large enough for it, and assist the driver in steering itself into the spot – either parallel or perpendicular.
The second option on the Arteon is the R-Line Package. This package gives the Arteon a sporting and aggressive appearance inside and out. 20” Rosario alloy wheels, R-Line aluminum door sills, a black headliner, a special R-Line steering wheel and the R-Line exterior design package featuring a more aggressively styled front and rear bumper.
